Time Stands Still Will Stand Again

The Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Donald Margulies' Time Stands Still will be returning to Broadway at a Shubert-owned theater to-be-announced.  The four member cast of the original production, which includes 2010 Tony Nominee Laura Linney, will return with the production -- except for Alicia Silverstone, who' replacement will be announced in the coming weeks.  This appears to be an attempt to boost the show's chances at Tony wins for Linney and the show itself as best play.  I think this strategy has a good chance of working in Linney's favor, and definitely keeps it competitive in a highly competitive best play category.
