Dixie Carter, Star of Stage and Screen, Dead at 70

Dixie Carter, a stage vet probably best known for her role as Julia Sugarbaker in the 1980s sitcom Designing Women, has died at the age of 70.  Her publicist released the fact of her death to the Associated Press, but not the cause.
