A report has surfaced that Julie Taymor's musical adaptation of the Spider-Man comics, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, may be getting a new book. The report has stated that the show's producers have reached out to playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa "to help rework the book". Aguirre-Scasa has, it would seem, done this kind of thing before, having updated the book of the 1966 musical It's a Bird ... It's a Plane ... It's Superman for a production in Dallas last summer.
