David Lindsay-Abaire, a Boston-born-and-raised playwright who has made it big in New York Theater (earning 3 Tony nominations along the way) has been profiled in the New York Times this week. Lindsay-Abaire's first major work on Broadway, Rabbit Hole, which won the Pulitzer Prize and earned him his first Tony nomination, was recently given the Hollywood treatment, scoring an Oscar nomination for the role that Cynthia Nixon created onstage to Tony-winning effect.
