The Addams Family

Broadway's The Addams Family opened Thursday night and received some interesting reviews.  The writing, both of the book and of the score, were pretty unanimously panned by the professionals (but word of mouth from regular audience members says that the show was hilarious).  The two things that was praised by everyone were Bebe Neuwirth and Nathan Lane who, according to all sources, gave stellar star performances.  We shall see how the show will fare come May 4th, but I am no longer predicting it to be the mega hit I once thought it might.
