Grammy Nominations Announced

The nominations for the 2012 Grammy Awards have been announced and include some Broadway stars. the most closely connected category is the Best Musical Show album. This category is for any musical which released its cast album during the relevant eligibility period for the Grammy Awards. The nominees in this category are the albums for Anything Goes, The Book of Mormon, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The fourth CD release of the Glee soundtrack has been nominated in the category of Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. Also, Harry Conick, Jr., who is currently appearing in the soon-to-open revival of On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, was nominated for his album In Concert On Broadway in the category Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
