Julie Taymor Spider-Man Saga Continues

Julie Taymor, who is still credited as book writer of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, is still tangled up in battles with the show's other creators. On October 3rd, Julie Taymor and the show's producers will enter arbitration on October 3rd (this coming Monday) because Taymor "claims she is owed $500,000 in unpaid royalties for her work," according to an article by Kenneth Jones on Playbill.com. The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, the union to which Taymor belongs, filed the complaint in June on her behalf.
